Madison and Me

We were playing peek-a-boo with her blanket this evening. She loves to play games. I love her smile in the pictures and her eyes. They smile too. I have so much fun playing with my baby.

Madison is a such a good eater. The older she gets, the bigger the mess. I know I am supposed to find it all adorable, but cleaning up this mess is gross. She loves to smear it around her highchair tray and in her eyebrows.

Madison does not like to put on a coat. She fights me everytime. She was so mad here and crying so loud that the dog ran to protect her. I guess he thought I was hurting her, it was hilarious. He was barking at me, she was crying. I just laughed and grabbed my camera. Some days I don’t know how I deal with both of them. They are quite the pair.

Today is the first round of the playoffs and I dressed Madison in the appropriate gear. I love the Cardinals, so I bought Madison her very own Cardinals jersey. She has no idea what football is yet, but I plan on changing that. Go Kurt Warner, Go Cardinals!

Madison loves to eat pancakes. I usually try and make them for her on the weekends because it’s hard to do during the week. She loves pancakes. I chose this picture because she is laughing so hard at me saying “Eat your pancakes”. It wasn’t even funny, but she laughs at everything.

Madison loves kitties and cats. She found this cat in the Cracker Barrel store this past week. She has not let go since she picked it up. Only when she is sleeping can I take it away from her. She says “meeeeoooow” and “kitttty”. I love the pictures of her loving on her kitty. When she older I may get her a kitty, but for now the stuffed version will have to do.

Our life is so ordinary, yet amazing. I try to take pictures every day. In the top pictures she is hanging out after dinner. She starts laughing at me for no reason. I had to have a picture of her doing her “Momma you wear me out face rub” in picture two. In the last picture during her nightly bath, she just starts giggling and throwing things. I always keep the camera close by for moments like this. Beautiful, simple, every day moments.

Today is my last day of vacation. Madison, Jasper and I just hung out around the house having fun. I love the shirt she is wearing. It says “If you think I’m cute, you should see my Mom”.  Ha Ha so fun to get those types of shirts. Madison and Jasper have so much fun together and I love taking pictures of her sweet face. Its back to work tomorrow but hopefully I will be able to keep up with my picture taking.

It was a quiet New Year’s Eve this year. Just me and Teeny. We had a blast watching cartoons. She partied it up with whole milk. She tried to make it to midnight with me, she lasted until 11:45. She is starting to stick out her tongue. Not in a mean way, she just discovered it.  Happy New Year everyone!

I have been off on vacation since Christmas Eve. Both of my babies are enjoying me being home. They get to nap in my bed. I put Madison down for her morning nap and Jasper jumped up to join her. I love my two babies.
